PRIVACY POLICY

Your information should stay yours.

This policy explains how Sahan Circle handles information during its closed beta. Last updated: September 6, 2026.

Information we keep

We keep the email address used for your account or access request, answers you choose to provide in the waitlist form, the profile details you choose to share, your invite status, matches, messages, blocks, and reports. We use this information to run the community and help keep it safe.

What other members can see

Other members see only the profile details you choose to make visible. Your email address, invite information, blocks, and reports are not shown to other members.

Messages and safety reports

Messages are stored so conversations can work. They are not presented as end-to-end encrypted. Reports may be reviewed by the Sahan Circle organizer to investigate safety concerns; the reported member is not told who submitted the report.

How we use information

We use account and community information to provide the service, prevent misuse, enforce the Community Rules, respond to safety reports, and improve the closed beta. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Keeping your account safe

Use an email account only you control and a unique password. Do not put your real name, address, workplace, or other sensitive details in your profile unless you genuinely want to share them.

Delete your account

You can delete your account from your Profile page. This removes your profile and account access. Some limited safety records may be retained when necessary to prevent serious abuse or meet a legal obligation.

Questions or requests

During the closed beta, contact the Sahan Circle organizer who sent your invitation if you have a privacy question or want to request information about your account.
